Pedrinho de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diogo Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 17 minutes into the game, one of Alfa FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 19th minute there was a penalty for Sport Club Cevada. Chu Yun Xi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pedrinho de Queirós. 0-1. In the 22nd minute Pedro Luís Munhoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho de Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stian Selnes got free with Apostolis Porros in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Diogo Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Pedrinho de Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Ole-Johan Larsen could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Apostolis Porros however easily saved by the left post. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diogo Melo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kristian Sanne kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. José Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sport Club Cevada's José Lima got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Diogo Melo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Pedrinho de Queirós made a huge save. After some careless play in the Alfa FC defense, Pedro Luís Munhoz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedrinho de Queirós. The Alfa FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedrinho de Queirós should have stopped the shot. Stian Selnes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apostolis Porros having to interfere. In the 88th minute José Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho de Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Apostolis Porros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ole-Johan Larsen in the 91st minute of the match. After 91 played minutes Sport Club Cevada got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Luís Munhoz. 95 minutes into the game, Lázaro Galtero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alfa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sport Club Cevada the free kick.
