The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Yung Gunners FK's Maximilian Strömbom got control of the ball when Nereo Rik tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Alexandros Matsinopoulos took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Maximilian Strömbom to make any attempt to save it. Yung Gunners FK's Maximilian Strömbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandros Matsinopoulos in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute Yung Gunners FK were awarded a corner. Arman Kristiansson went to the cornerflag to take it. Alexandros Matsinopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yung Gunners FK's Maximilian Strömbom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Yung Gunners FK from getting a goal against them. Chris Draxl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lu Kang Yi in the 22nd minute of play. Chris Draxl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lu Kang Yi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgar Kochowski made in the 26th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Nelsinho Tepedino however managed to control. In the 27th match minute, Yung Gunners FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Maria to maneuver through the defense. Nereo Rik kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Maximilian Strömbom made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nereo Rik in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Nereo Rik cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Maximilian Strömbom was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 34th minute, CJ Traoré got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th minute of the match, Nereo Rik got a very nice opportunity to score, but Maximilian Strömbom was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 39 minutes into the match, Nereo Rik had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maximilian Strömbom. Yung Gunners FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nereo Rik was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Alexandros Matsinopoulos took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maximilian Strömbom. Maximilian Strömbom dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Alexandros Matsinopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot. SK Fenerbahce Wien's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandros Matsinopoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximilian Strömbom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Alexandros Matsinopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot. SK Fenerbahce Wien's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandros Matsinopoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximilian Strömbom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when Alexandros Matsinopoulos made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yngve Sandström got free with Chris Draxl in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. SK Fenerbahce Wien made a substitution. Eike Hörtnagel replaced Alexandros Matsinopoulos. After 74 played minutes SK Fenerbahce Wien got a freekick which was hit by Pau Cacheres. After 76 minutes of play, SK Fenerbahce Wien's Nereo Rik made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximilian Strömbom was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eike Hörtnagel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximilian Strömbom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. The corner led SK Fenerbahce Wien's Thodoris Charalambakis to fire away a dangerous shot which Maximilian Strömbom despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 86thth minute of the game Nereo Rik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yung Gunners FK's Maximilian Strömbom was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 87 minutes of play, SK Fenerbahce Wien's Eike Hörtnagel made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximilian Strömbom was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maximilian Strömbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eike Hörtnagel, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. SK Fenerbahce Wien's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
