Spectators: 7487 (Terracing: 5616, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) Pihl United's Tommy Sundberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Tommy Sundberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelson Cloarec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute, Enrique Ferreira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pihl United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 10th minute Shea Caballero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelson Cloarec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Pihl United's Tommy Sundberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nelson Cloarec made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chico Dias in the 15th minute of play forced Formation Pure Lyonnaise's goalkeeper Nelson Cloarec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute Gaspard Letourneux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gottfrid Haström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24thth minute of the game Tommy Sundberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Formation Pure Lyonnaise's Nelson Cloarec was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nelson Cloarec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Sundberg in the 26th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Shea Caballero notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Formation Pure Lyonnaise's Nelson Cloarec. Nelson Cloarec was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 30 minutes into the game, Tommy Sundberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Nelson Cloarec was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 34th minute, Tommy Sundberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nelson Cloarec was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Tommy Sundberg put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Nelson Cloarec. 40 minutes into the match, Daniel Waselewicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nelson Cloarec. Formation Pure Lyonnaise's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Waselewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Formation Pure Lyonnaise's Nelson Cloarec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Ferreira in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Davy Giacomoni was the one to do the kick off. Nelson Cloarec came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Pihl United's Daniel Waselewicz. But to his dismay, Daniel Waselewicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. 60 minutes into the match, Formation Pure Lyonnaise's goal looked a bit too open when Shea Caballero came free, but Nelson Cloarec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shea Caballero didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 60th minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Shea Caballero ran dejectedly back to his position. Tommy Sundberg scored 0-9 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nelson Cloarec, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pihl United's Anderson Leal was substituted for Sergio-Roberto Ramos. Tommy Sundberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Nelson Cloarec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommy Sundberg took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nelson Cloarec. Nelson Cloarec dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-12. Tommy Sundbergs short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Nelson Cloarec to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Nelson Cloarec was a little too slow when Daniel Waselewicz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 0-13. 83 minutes into the game, Enrique Ferreira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nelson Cloarec. Enrique Ferreira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-14. After some careless play in the Formation Pure Lyonnaise defense, Daniel Waselewicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nelson Cloarec. The Formation Pure Lyonnaise fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nelson Cloarec should have stopped the shot. In the 89th minute, Tommy Sundberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nelson Cloarec was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-16. Daniel Waselewicz took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nelson Cloarec. Nelson Cloarec dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-18. The Formation Pure Lyonnaise fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pihl United were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
