Spectators: 6997 (Terracing: 5280, Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 2) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Teodoro Primo kicked off to start the match. Besart Toto made in the 3rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Teodoro Primo. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Federico Gil during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 5th match minute, C. A. Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Gil to maneuver through the defense. 6 minutes into the match, C. A. Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Twan Hesseling came free, but Tony Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tony Guimarães came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Verwachting's Twan Hesseling. But to his dismay, Twan Hesseling quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Tony Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Twan Hesseling, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Tony Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christijan Schreuder in the 19th minute of the match. If Eliseo Sasoin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Hans Deitmers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tony Guimarães was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 30th minute Hans Deitmers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tony Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Twan Hesseling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, C. A. Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Twan Hesseling came free, but Tony Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C. A. Atlanta's Tony Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christijan Schreuder in the 37th minute of play. After a rather tough play, C. A. Atlanta's Silverio Eutropio got a free kick in the 38th minute. Ruud Geels took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tony Guimarães. Tony Guimarães dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3.

Herbert Hilhorst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Orlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After 57 played minutes Verwachting got a freekick which was hit by Phoenix Soare. Christijan Schreuders short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Tony Guimarães to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Romulo Hever kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After 64 played minutes C. A. Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Romulo Hever. When Eliseo Sasoin came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the C. A. Atlanta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Sasoin couldn't finish the play. Herbert Hilhorst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantino Bertol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute of the match, Twan Hesseling tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tony Guimarães saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Twan Hesseling in the 81st minute of play forced C. A. Atlanta's goalkeeper Tony Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 87 minutes of play, Verwachting's Ruud Geels made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tony Guimarães was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tony Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruud Geels in the 90th minute of the match. C. A. Atlanta's Tony Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Twan Hesseling in the 93rd minute of play. Herbert Hilhorst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantino Bertol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Verwachting eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
