The supporters of Esmeralda AFC booed when 卡納里尼奧 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Damasceno didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Vítor Guimarães came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Esmeralda AFC's David Banegas. But to his dismay, David Banegas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. João Vítor Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrew Dalli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute Andrew Dalli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Vítor Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Esmeralda AFC's David Banegas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Vítor Guimarães made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After 18 played minutes 卡納里尼奧 FC got a freekick which was hit by Armandinho Pombal. João Vítor Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrew Dalli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Eliseu Alagoano fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 卡納里尼奧 FC's protests and gave Eliseu Alagoano a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseu Alagoano in the 28th minute of play forced Esmeralda AFC's goalkeeper Jorge Armani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Vítor Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Calvino in the 40th minute of play. 卡納里尼奧 FC's João Vítor Guimarães proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save 卡納里尼奧 FC from getting a goal against them. After 44 played minutes 卡納里尼奧 FC got a freekick which was hit by Eliseu Alagoano. In the 45th match minute, 卡納里尼奧 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseu Alagoano to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Esmeralda AFC's Eloy Calvino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of João Vítor Guimarães. That made the score 4-0 after 46 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elias Damasceno made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Calvino in the 51st minute of play forced 卡納里尼奧 FC's goalkeeper João Vítor Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute, David Banegas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Vítor Guimarães was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 57th minute Andrew Dalli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Vítor Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute David Banegas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Vítor Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, 卡納里尼奧 FC's goal looked a bit too open when David Banegas came free, but João Vítor Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esmeralda AFC's Di Yong Yu was substituted for Nicasio Fonda. Eliseu Alagoano got his second yellow card in the match during the 91st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 92 played minutes 卡納里尼奧 FC got a freekick which was hit by Eliseu Alagoano. In the 95th minute, Devidatta Vendetta made a precise shot to the right of João Vítor Guimarães. 卡納里尼奧 FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. There was no doubt that Esmeralda AFC were the better team. Esmeralda AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
