After some careless play in the Jaru-Uaru defense, Dündar Ülkenur kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Otávio Dante. The Jaru-Uaru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Otávio Dante should have stopped the shot. Thiago Cardoso hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Otávio Dante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Göktürk Bozlak in the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dündar Ülkenur in the 23rd minute of play forced Jaru-Uaru's goalkeeper Otávio Dante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute Dündar Ülkenur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otávio Dante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Los Tatangelos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Göktürk Bozlak in the 25th minute. After taking down the ball on Los Tatangelos's corner Ahmet Koralp Özsu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Otávio Dante quite easily take care of the ball. Otávio Dante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Figueiredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Jaru-Uaru's zone, Dündar Ülkenur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otávio Dante came out of the goal and Dündar Ülkenur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute, Göktürk Bozlak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Jaru-Uaru players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Los Tatangelos were winning 0-1.

In the 53rd match minute, Los Tatangelos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Flores to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute, Jorge Figueiredo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Otávio Dante. The goal made the score 0-2. Otávio Dante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dündar Ülkenur in the 64th minute of play. After 65 played minutes Los Tatangelos got a freekick which was hit by Hadi Vefakar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicasio Abreu in the 66th minute of play forced Los Tatangelos's goalkeeper Yağızalp Özerkmen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute Nicasio Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yağızalp Özerkmen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Ahmet Koralp Özsu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Jaru-Uaru getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Enrique Toledo hit a great ball. Otávio Dante made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorge Figueiredo in the 79th minute. Adérito Aleixo came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Otávio Dante could save by the left post. When Los Tatangelos's Dündar Ülkenur, in the 84th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Los Tatangelos. A collision led to Jaru-Uaru getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Ramon Abarca hit a great ball. After 92 played minutes Los Tatangelos got a freekick which was hit by Vural Esay. In the 94th minute, one of Los Tatangelos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Los Tatangelos. In the 96th minute there was a penalty for Jaru-Uaru. Luís Fernando Vides stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Yağızalp Özerkmen. 1-2. Los Tatangelos's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
