Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andrew Dalli started the match with the kick off. Richard Samaniego was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Andrew Dalli capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Andrew Dalli really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Jorge Armani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Medina in the 13th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Rossobianco's goalkeeper Richard Samaniego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Banegas. Richard Samaniego made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Devidatta Vendetta sent off a good shot on target. Richard Samaniego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Calvino in the 20th minute of play. Jorge Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fumanchu Faso in the 21st minute of play. When Esmeralda AFC's Andrew Dalli in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rossobianco's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Andrew Dalli put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Richard Samaniego. Richard Samaniego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrew Dalli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Richard Samaniego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Calvino in the 31st minute of the match. Esmeralda AFC were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Rossobianco's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Devidatta Vendetta took the corner. The corner led to Esmeralda AFC's Eloy Calvino getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. A collision led to Rossobianco getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Fernan Aureo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Calvino in the 45th minute of play forced Rossobianco's goalkeeper Richard Samaniego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Esmeralda AFC booed when Rossobianco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Elequemedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Devidatta Vendetta in the 47th minute of play forced Rossobianco's goalkeeper Richard Samaniego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esmeralda AFC were awarded a corner in the 49th minute after Rossobianco's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Devidatta Vendetta took the corner. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
Eloy Calvino scored 3-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Richard Samaniego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eduardo Medina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Jorge Armani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Kong Kun Xu fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Esmeralda AFC's protests and gave Kong Kun Xu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Rossobianco booed when Esmeralda AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kong Kun Xu didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Calvino in the 65th minute of play forced Rossobianco's goalkeeper Richard Samaniego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute of the match Esmeralda AFC got a corner. Rossobianco's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Devidatta Vendetta ran over to the corner to take the kick. Eloy Calvino made a great header on Esmeralda AFC's corner, it was just that Rossobianco's Richard Samaniego managed to reach the ball for a save. Rossobianco's Eduardo Medina got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, Rossobianco's goal looked a bit too open when Devidatta Vendetta came free, but Richard Samaniego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Richard Samaniego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Devidatta Vendetta, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Andrew Dalli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Richard Samaniego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Devidatta Vendetta in the 89th minute of play forced Rossobianco's goalkeeper Richard Samaniego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, David Banegas notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Rossobianco's Richard Samaniego. Richard Samaniego was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. David Banegas took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Richard Samaniego. Richard Samaniego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. When the referee ended the match the Esmeralda AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
