An unexpectedly hard shot by Eutichios Panagakos in the 4th minute of play forced Uraricuera EC's goalkeeper Chiquinho Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uraricuera EC's Chiquinho Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avraam Sevastopoulos in the 8th minute of play. Chiquinho Peres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chatziioannou Sourlis in the 11th minute of play. The corner ended in Pedro Munhoz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but YELLOW FC's Vaggelis Lalas did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Olof Kämpe in the 39th minute of play forced Uraricuera EC's goalkeeper Chiquinho Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chiquinho Peres was a little too slow when Jan-Olof Kämpe got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Avraam Sevastopoulos made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Glauco Aparecido got free with Vaggelis Lalas in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 54th minute Jan-Olof Kämpe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquinho Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Pedro Munhoz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vaggelis Lalas. The goal made the score 1-1. Chiquinho Peres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avraam Sevastopoulos in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thanasis Robos in the 66th minute of play forced Uraricuera EC's goalkeeper Chiquinho Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Avraam Sevastopoulos took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chiquinho Peres. Chiquinho Peres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 80th minute, Thanasis Robos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The YELLOW FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. YELLOW FC's Spyros Kazantzakos was substituted for Eutichios Panagakos. In the 96th minute, YELLOW FC's Nontas Ntalakouras seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Nontas Ntalakouras the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of YELLOW FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nontas Ntalakouras had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 95th minute of the game. One of YELLOW FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Uraricuera EC:s goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. YELLOW FC had won after a very even match.
