It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luisito Antequera kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Antequera in the 3rd minute of play forced Made in Honduras's goalkeeper Dan Gheară to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 4 minutes into the match, Made in Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Bray McJon came free, but Dan Gheară reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dan Gheară showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bray McJon, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Made in Honduras's Dan Gheară played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bray McJon in the 11th minute of play. Dan Gheară showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisito Antequera, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Made in Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Fernandão Recife came free, but Dan Gheară reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Montevideo fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Montevideo's Bray McJon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bray McJon in the 35th minute of play forced Made in Honduras's goalkeeper Dan Gheară to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute Bray McJon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Gheară saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tris Ruddock got free with Ronaldo Medeiros in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Made in Honduras's Tommas Lanphan got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Bray McJon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dan Gheară was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 47 minutes into the match, Made in Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Luisito Antequera came free, but Dan Gheară reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Made in Honduras players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Montevideo were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tommas Lanphan made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Montevideo's goal looked a bit too open when Tris Ruddock came free, but Ronaldo Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Made in Honduras's Will Villanueva got a free kick in the 68th minute. With a little luck, Made in Honduras's Dan Gheară got control of the ball when Fernandão Recife tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dan Gheară showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Passos, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Ronaldo Medeiros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tommas Lanphan's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. If Tris Ruddock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Made in Honduras made a substitution. Nicolás Mora replaced Tris Ruddock. Bray McJon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dan Gheară came out and tried to block the shot, but Bray McJon slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 84th minute. Made in Honduras's Dan Gheară proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Made in Honduras from getting a goal against them. Ronaldo Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan Brito in the 89th minute of the match. The supporters of Montevideo booed when Made in Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aladin Bey didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Montevideo's Bray McJon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dan Gheară made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4.
