The corner led Brooklyn SC's Gerardo Beard to fire away a dangerous shot which Tibor Guzy despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tibor Guzy was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dwight Schrute. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Gerardo Beard put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tibor Guzy. Brooklyn SC were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Gyepüpataka's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jonas Cole took the corner. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gianluigi p'Bitek was the one to do the kick off. Felix Augustin took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tibor Guzy. Tibor Guzy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 59 minutes into the match, Gerardo Beard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tibor Guzy. Gyepüpataka's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerardo Beard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Felix Augustin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerardo Beard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tibor Guzy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Jonas Cole blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tibor Guzy having to make a save.
