The supporters of FC MARKUS booed when Sipo EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Alberto Passos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carroll Hathaway showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucjan Drugi, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sipo EC's zone, Gandalf Head stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carroll Hathaway came out of the goal and Gandalf Head tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10th minute, Lucjan Drugi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Oséias Gerber took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Arkadiusz Kostka to make any attempt to save it. FC MARKUS's Arkadiusz Kostka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elói Ferreira in the 15th minute of play. When Sipo EC's Oséias Gerber, in the 15th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Sipo EC. Carroll Hathaway made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gandalf Head in the 20th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, FC MARKUS's goalkeeper Arkadiusz Kostka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oséias Gerber. After 23 played minutes Sipo EC got a freekick which was hit by Filip Bykowski. After a defensive mix-up in Sipo EC's zone, Teobald Jeziorkowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carroll Hathaway came out of the goal and Teobald Jeziorkowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Hatman hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Arkadiusz Kostka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elói Ferreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. A collision led to Sipo EC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Silvano Mohamed hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute of the match Zbigniew Gendolla shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carroll Hathaway showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 48th minute Lucjan Drugi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carroll Hathaway saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oséias Gerber to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Sipo EC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Alberto Passos. Teobald Jeziorkowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Carroll Hathaway made a huge save. Carroll Hathaway showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gandalf Head, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 67th minute, Lucjan Drugi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oséias Gerber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Arkadiusz Kostka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Noel Velloso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arkadiusz Kostka was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oséias Gerber in the 92nd minute of play forced FC MARKUS's goalkeeper Arkadiusz Kostka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 94 played minutes Sipo EC got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Porto.
