The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Flóki Cabezudo to strike the kick off in the second half. Tobias Faro came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Stellenbosch's Flóki Cabezudo. But to his dismay, Flóki Cabezudo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Severo Laurgain sped through Stellenbosch's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Pelayo. Stellenbosch made a substitution. Osvaldo Bernat replaced Flóki Cabezudo. Tobias Faro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Bernat, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Stellenbosch's attentive Virgilio Remicio managed to snatch the ball when Nicanor Bieito made a throw-in in the 77th minute of the game.
