With an all-out effort, United Legends's Gheorghe Baldovin threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edelmiro Onbera, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 27th minute of the match United Legends got a corner. FC Buzău's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mantvydas Balvočius ran over to the corner to take the kick. United Legends's Mantvydas Balvočius was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gheorghe Baldovin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. United Legends's Luciano Bastiaro got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th match minute, FC Buzău was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augustin Cernat to maneuver through the defense. United Legends's Mantvydas Balvočius got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to FC Buzău getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Ştefan Trif hit a great ball. After 38 played minutes United Legends got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Etxahun. In the 39th minute of the match Leonard Aanuţei shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfred Kochowski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 40 minutes, Gaston Udalaitz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the United Legends and the FC Buzău players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 40 played minutes United Legends got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Udalaitz. Edelmiro Onbera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gheorghe Baldovin having to interfere. Alfred Kochowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avram Elenescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Avram Elenescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Avram Elenescu in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfred Kochowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Avram Elenescu in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfred Kochowski saved United Legends from getting behind. United Legends's Alfred Kochowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save United Legends from getting a goal against them. The supporters of United Legends booed when FC Buzău was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cătălin Arjoca didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Avram Elenescu in the 64th minute of play forced United Legends's goalkeeper Alfred Kochowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute Avram Elenescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfred Kochowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Avram Elenescu got free with Alfred Kochowski in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpected shot in the 85th minute by Leonard Aanuţei got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a little luck, United Legends's Alfred Kochowski got control of the ball when Cătălin Arjoca tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of FC Buzău booed when United Legends was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Onbera didn't get a good kick on the ball. The FC Buzău players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented United Legends from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
