When Quin Camaño came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the UE Cornella fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quin Camaño couldn't finish the play. When Xabat Vadillos fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UE Cornella's protests and gave Xabat Vadillos a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 10th minute of the game. One of UE Cornella:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of AKHisaR:s goal. UE Cornella:s Justin Abril showed great skill when he stopped Arif Tugay Değirmencioğlu:s penalty. In the 12th minute, Arif Tugay Değirmencioğlu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AKHisaR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Kevinn De Bruyne kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lefter Demirbaş. That made the score 1-1 in the 20 minute of play. After a rather tough play, UE Cornella's Rauf Uçanok got a free kick in the 29th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Ergün Özver managed to get in a good position for a shot. AKHisaR's supporters rose to their feet, but Ergün Özver was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Justin Abril breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xabat Vadillos in the 36th minute of play forced AKHisaR's goalkeeper Lefter Demirbaş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
