Spectators: 7522 (Terracing: 5642, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Morales Moreira got the match started through his kick off. If Morales Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 6 minutes into the match, Nas Horas Vagas F.C's Morales Moreira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Afonsinho Marques narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 9th minute of the match Nas Horas Vagas F.C got a corner. Fala Sério FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Morales Moreira ran over to the corner to take the kick. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Gernando Paes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Fala Sério FC, in the 22nd minute, was rewarded a free kick, André Azevedo went for the shot and managed to fire it away just outside the right post. An excellent chance for a goal! Kauan Santoss short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Gernando Paes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Silas Valadares hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Fala Sério FC's Afonsinho Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Morales Moreira in the 28th minute of play. The supporters of Nas Horas Vagas F.C booed when Fala Sério FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Fala Sério FC's goal looked a bit too open when Morales Moreira came free, but Afonsinho Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for André Azevedo to strike the kick off in the second half. Gernando Paes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kauan Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fala Sério FC were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Nas Horas Vagas F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kauan Santos took the corner. The corner led Fala Sério FC's Kauan Santos to fire away a dangerous shot which Gernando Paes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 56 played minutes Nas Horas Vagas F.C got a freekick which was hit by Antônio Penha. André Azevedo hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Afonsinho Marques made an important save on a dangerous shot by Morales Moreira in the 64th minute. Gernando Paes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerome Rohrer, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 67th match minute, Nas Horas Vagas F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Duarte to maneuver through the defense. Fala Sério FC's Wanderson Lopez was substituted for Kauan Santos. After a rather tough play, Nas Horas Vagas F.C's Abel Duarte got a free kick in the 69th minute. Wanderson Lopez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jairo Souto kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Afonsinho Marques made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Conrado Camargo sent off a good shot on target. Nas Horas Vagas F.C's Gernando Paes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Régis de Amorim in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Abel Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gernando Paes came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Fala Sério FC's Wanderson Lopez. But to his dismay, Wanderson Lopez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wanderson Lopez in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gernando Paes saved Nas Horas Vagas F.C from getting behind. In the 89th minute Régis de Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gernando Paes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
