Aldo Kaxen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Leizaur, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Aldo Kaxen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yves Passot in the 12th minute of play. Montevideo City Torque were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after ROJO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alkestis Papadopulos took the corner. Aldo Kaxen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yves Passot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, ROJO's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Leizaur came free, but Aldo Kaxen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Montevideo City Torque's Christophe Troxler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Benet in the 33rd minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, ROJO's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Leizaur came free, but Aldo Kaxen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Montevideo City Torque's Ticho Covarrubias got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Samuel Benet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Christophe Troxler made a huge save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When Yves Passot came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Montevideo City Torque fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yves Passot couldn't finish the play. 64 minutes into the game, Yves Passot recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aldo Kaxen. Yves Passot showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Agustín Álvarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aldo Kaxen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustín Álvarez in the 71st minute. Christophe Troxler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Huijsmans, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Álvarez in the 74th minute of play forced ROJO's goalkeeper Aldo Kaxen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Ticho Covarrubias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the game, Agustín Álvarez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Aldo Kaxen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The ROJO supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Montevideo City Torque's performance. The match ended with a win for Montevideo City Torque.
