Suibhne Ghee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denis Paulin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felipe Mino's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. With an all-out effort, Tama's Denis Paulin threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Victorino Mogel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lionel-Andrés Messi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Medardo having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Tama's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Ferrer came free, but Mateo Medardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Defensores de Lombroso's corner Teofilo Esdras fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mateo Medardo quite easily take care of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Felipe Mino to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Mino in the 83rd minute of play forced Defensores de Lombroso's goalkeeper Denis Paulin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Tama's Casimiro Valiente got a free kick in the 95th minute. After 97 minutes, Marco Santiago mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tama and the Defensores de Lombroso players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marco Santiago kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tama had won after a very even match.
