The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Yves Passot might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Toader Cojan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yves Passot ran back to his position shaking his head. Toader Cojan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yves Passot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alin Moiș kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. ⚽RAE⚽'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Yves Passot scored to the left of an out of position Toader Cojan, making the score, 1-0. Yves Passot blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Toader Cojan having to make a save. Toader Cojan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yves Passot in the 17th minute. Yves Passot might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Toader Cojan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yves Passot ran back to his position shaking his head. Toader Cojan came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Montevideo City Torque's Yves Passot. But to his dismay, Yves Passot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Yves Passot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Toader Cojan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alkestis Papadopulos hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robert Covaliu to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, ⚽RAE⚽'s Victor Andriescu got a free kick in the 50th minute. Yves Passot hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind ⚽RAE⚽'s goalkeeper Toader Cojan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Guillelme Lomas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Toader Cojan having to make a save. Toader Cojan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agustín Álvarez went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Agustín Álvarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agustín Álvarez in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Toader Cojan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Agustín Álvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 67 minutes into the match, ⚽RAE⚽'s goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Álvarez came free, but Toader Cojan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Agustín Álvarez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Toader Cojan was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Agustín Álvarez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Toader Cojan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. In the 84th match minute, Montevideo City Torque was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benito Gallegos to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute, Agustín Álvarez made a precise shot to the right of Toader Cojan. ⚽RAE⚽'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. If Agustín Álvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute.
