Christophe Troxler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inge Askelöf in the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd play minute Agustín Álvarez came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Joel Kruuse. 1-1. After 42 minutes, Ticho Covarrubias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Montevideo City Torque and the SoPpÅkArNa players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 42nd minute, Ticho Covarrubias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute of the match Nicola Noppe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christophe Troxler showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Agustín Álvarez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joel Kruuse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute Gu Sha Zhen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Kruuse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christophe Troxler made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Simon Henriksson sent off a good shot on target. SoPpÅkArNa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montevideo City Torque the free kick.
