Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bin Shevchenko started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute Blumenau Esporte Clube were awarded a corner. Nildo Dantas went to the cornerflag to take it. Ruperto Tartalo kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Luiz Fábio Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Goizeder in the 10th minute of the match. Maurinho Terra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bin Shevchenko's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Luiz Fábio Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Goizeder in the 20th minute of play. Blumenau Esporte Clube's Lucas-Ignacio Lugano managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ruperto Tartalo in the 23 minute of the game. In the 28th minute of the match Blumenau Esporte Clube got a corner. Alejandra's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nildo Dantas ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Gilberto Goizeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 38 minutes of play, Blumenau Esporte Clube's Bin Shevchenko made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maurinho Terra was left in no man's land by his defense there! Horacio Lain struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Luiz Fábio Leite didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alejandra. After 47 minutes, Ruperto Tartalo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alejandra and the Blumenau Esporte Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ruperto Tartalo kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

In the 51st minute Federico Girotti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fábio Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Fábio Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Goizeder in the 57th minute of the match. Gilberto Goizeder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fábio Leite having to interfere. Alejandra's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Bin Shevchenko scored to the left of an out of position Maurinho Terra, making the score, 1-2. Bin Shevchenko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Alejandra getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Narciso Erruki hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the match, Alejandra's goalkeeper Maurinho Terra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bin Shevchenko. In the 86th match minute, Blumenau Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Augusto Couto to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Alejandra lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
