Gogo Hug didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bombai Bombis went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Kentucky Mustangs's Stanford Peters proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Kentucky Mustangs from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tolek Burowski got free with Stanford Peters in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Kentucky Mustangs booed when TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeronimo Mazuste didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th match minute, Kentucky Mustangs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Cunningham to maneuver through the defense. Stanford Peters made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tolek Burowski in the 31st minute. Gogo Hug took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jack Agnes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Jack Agnes notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB's Gogo Hug. Gogo Hug was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Stanford Peters made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dario Gonzalez in the 35th minute. In the 45th minute, Jiang Jun Xiang ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stanford Peters was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jack Agnes was the one to do the kick off. Tracy Brunson kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Gogo Hug made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bombai Bombis in the 63rd minute of play. After some careless play in the TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB defense, Bombai Bombis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gogo Hug. The TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gogo Hug should have stopped the shot. Stanford Peters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tolek Burowski in the 70th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Kentucky Mustangs's zone, Tolek Burowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stanford Peters came out of the goal and Tolek Burowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB's Norberto Orlin was substituted for Jeronimo Mazuste. TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB made a substitution. Morel Rial replaced Tolek Burowski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Orlin in the 78th minute of play forced Kentucky Mustangs's goalkeeper Stanford Peters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st match minute, TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aríel Salinas to maneuver through the defense. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB's much stronger midfield.
