An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Intxixu in the 5th minute of play forced Kentucky Mustangs's goalkeeper Stanford Peters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Tracy Brunson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stanford Peters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Egoitz in the 11th minute of play. Oshyros ll's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leandro Lucado in the 13th minute. Jack Agnes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fumo Pocock read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Djamel Autret ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stanford Peters was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Kentucky Mustangs's Stanford Peters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Egoitz in the 19th minute of play. In the 25thth minute of the game Cristian Egoitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kentucky Mustangs's Stanford Peters was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 27th minute, Jack Agnes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fumo Pocock made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Jack Agnes sent off a good shot on target. Stanford Peters showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Intxixu, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, Tracy Brunson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Egoitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stanford Peters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Intxixu in the 38th minute of the match. In the 45th minute Djamel Autret shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanford Peters saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jack Agnes to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Stanford Peters managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Oshyros ll's François Marotte fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Stanford Peters stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of François Marotte's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Oshyros ll's Isaac Intxixu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stanford Peters. That made the score 0-2 after 65 minutes of play. In the 71st minute, Cesar Hays hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stanford Peters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from François Marotte in the 73rd minute of play. With an all-out effort, Oshyros ll's Stanford Peters threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from François Marotte, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 77th minute, Isaac Intxixu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stanford Peters was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Stanford Peters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 孙翀轩 in the 80th minute of the match. If Bombai Bombis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Djamel Autret got free with Stanford Peters in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oshyros ll's Isaac Intxixu got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Oshyros ll's Omar Inautzi got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Oshyros ll's Isaac Intxixu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stanford Peters. That made the score 0-5 after 96 minutes of play. Oshyros ll played a much better game than Kentucky Mustangs and deserved their victory. The Kentucky Mustangs players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
