Enrico Cera took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Syd Cullen. Real Death Ducks's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Syd Cullen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adriano Michelini in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Hultstrand in the 14th minute of play forced Aris Salonicco FC's goalkeeper Biagio Polo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Syd Cullen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adriano Michelini went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Franklin de Queiroz in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Biagio Polo saved Aris Salonicco FC from getting behind. The Real Death Ducks fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Real Death Ducks's Wen Feng Shi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Biagio Polo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ive Volckaerts in the 32nd minute of play. Real Death Ducks's Syd Cullen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Real Death Ducks from getting a goal against them. In the 36th minute Real Death Ducks were awarded a corner. Ive Volckaerts went to the cornerflag to take it. 40 minutes into the game, Robin Hultstrand cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Biagio Polo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Aris Salonicco FC's zone, Wen Feng Shi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Biagio Polo came out of the goal and Wen Feng Shi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Syd Cullen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adriano Michelini in the 46th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Adriano Michelini made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Real Death Ducks's Marcelo Txindoki slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Biagio Polo. That made the score 2-3 after 52 minutes of play. When Adriano Michelini came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Aris Salonicco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adriano Michelini couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Aris Salonicco FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Comunardo Brunelli hit a great ball. Biagio Polo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ive Volckaerts in the 60th minute of play. In the 67thth minute of the game Ive Volckaerts who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aris Salonicco FC's Biagio Polo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabrizio Luciano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th match minute, Aris Salonicco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabrizio Luciano to maneuver through the defense. Ive Volckaerts could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Biagio Polo made a huge save. Biagio Polo made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Wen Feng Shi sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Real Death Ducks getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Yu Sen Yue hit a great ball. Biagio Polo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franklin de Queiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Aris Salonicco FC's Christian Di Marino got a free kick in the 89th minute. The Aris Salonicco FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Real Death Ducks's performance. The match ended with a win for Real Death Ducks.
