But to his dismay, Eddie Wittingham quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Juvenal Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oden Vandamme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juvenal Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piotr Perkowski in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th match minute, Bears are Back was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Korneliusz Tokarczyk to maneuver through the defense. When Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s Derek Findley in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oden Vandamme got free with Juvenal Moreira in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eddie Wittingham was the one to do the kick off. In the 75thth minute of the game Adrian Ruddock who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bears are Back's Jan Faust was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eddie Wittingham showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Piotr Perkowski charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Piotr Perkowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th minute, Piotr Perkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 98 minutes into the match, Eddie Wittingham dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jan Faust, 2-3. The Lisburn Distillery F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
