In the 18th match minute, FC Szczucin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Badaz Kibøl to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute Wang Wei Sha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Swoboda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Buritama Sports's Murilo Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stasio Lewkowicz in the 31st minute of play. Iwan Swoboda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexsandro Aguiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 39th minute Abelardo da Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Swoboda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th match minute, Buritama Sports was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilvan de Lara to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Buritama Sports's Murilo Ferreira got control of the ball when Emanuel Barbu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 43 minutes, Wang Wei Sha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buritama Sports's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wang Wei Sha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abelardo da Fonseca to make the kick off. If Emanuel Barbu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Walentowicz in the 53rd minute of play forced Buritama Sports's goalkeeper Murilo Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Barbu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Murilo Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Buritama Sports's Nuno Fonseca was substituted for Gilvan de Lara. FC Szczucin's Arslan Sadreddin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Murilo Ferreira in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Iwan Swoboda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abelardo da Fonseca went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Murilo Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Barbu in the 70th minute of the match. Vito Senna made in the 71st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Szczucin's Arslan Sadreddin. Murilo Ferreira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Barbu's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. A collision led to FC Szczucin getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Angelo Sayveon hit a great ball. FC Szczucin's Bernard Dembowski was substituted for Emanuel Barbu. After a rather tough play, FC Szczucin's Angelo Sayveon got a free kick in the 89th minute. Buritama Sports's Abelardo da Fonseca got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd match minute, Buritama Sports was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmo da Silveira to maneuver through the defense. When Edmund Walentowicz came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the FC Szczucin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmund Walentowicz couldn't finish the play.
