Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Tomé Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walmir Neiva in the 16th minute of play. Magno Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denílson de Andrade having to interfere. In the 24th minute Téo Campidelis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denílson de Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Wincent Wydrych hit a great ball. Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Tomé Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldemar Cardozo in the 28th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Waldemar Cardozo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomé Oliveira was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. In the 30th minute Predador were awarded a corner. Ulisses Vaz went to the cornerflag to take it. Wincent Wydrych's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Denílson de Andrade firmly grabbed it by the left post. 33 minutes into the match, Predador's goalkeeper Denílson de Andrade had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Magno Nunes. Denílson de Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Téo Campidelis in the 35th minute of the match. Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Predador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sandro Alvarenga took the corner. The corner ended in Sandro Alvarenga almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Predador's Denílson de Andrade did a great save. After 38 played minutes Predador got a freekick which was hit by Mieszko Kuszczak. After 39 played minutes, Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Sandro Alvarenga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Denílson de Andrade came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. reached it. In the 40th minute Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. were awarded a corner. Sandro Alvarenga went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Sandro Alvarenga to fire away a dangerous shot which Denílson de Andrade despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Walmir Neiva in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomé Oliveira saved Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmir Neiva in the 46th minute of play forced Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s goalkeeper Tomé Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Albertinho de Andrade got a free kick in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 53rd minute Walmir Neiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomé Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. defense, Walmir Neiva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomé Oliveira. The Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomé Oliveira should have stopped the shot. Tomé Oliveira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Waldemar Cardozo in the 59th minute. Tomé Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmir Neiva in the 60th minute of the match. Tomé Oliveira made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Waldemar Cardozo sent off a good shot on target. 68 minutes into the match, Predador's goal looked a bit too open when Magno Nunes came free, but Denílson de Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denílson de Andrade didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Téo Campidelis went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Denílson de Andrade stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Téo Campidelis's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Tomé Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmir Neiva in the 78th minute of play. Sandro Alvarenga hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the match, Waldemar Cardozo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomé Oliveira. Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Waldemar Cardozo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Tomé Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmir Neiva in the 91st minute of play. With his leg Tomé Oliveira managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when Predador's Waldemar Cardozo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Waldemar Cardozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Tomé Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Predador's performance. The match ended with a win for Predador.
