Karlos Vuelta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sune Svartengren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harry Higuita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Crawford Korff in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Fumasche's goal looked a bit too open when Sune Svartengren came free, but Karlos Vuelta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aro FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Crawford Korff scored to the left of an out of position Harry Higuita, making the score, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Aro FC's zone, Crawford Korff stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harry Higuita came out of the goal and Crawford Korff tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wei De Ling got free with Harry Higuita in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wei De Ling received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Harry Higuita came out and tried to block the shot, but Wei De Ling slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 41st minute. Aro FC's Harry Higuita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Arlo in the 47th minute of play. Fumasche's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jacobo Estevez in the 48th minute. Jacobo Estevez made a great header on Fumasche's corner, it was just that Aro FC's Harry Higuita managed to reach the ball for a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

After having played for 68 minutes, Isac Muntian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isac Muntian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aro FC's Harry Higuita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Crawford Korff in the 74th minute of play. Isac Muntian scored 4-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karlos Vuelta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nate Drakenborg in the 82nd minute of play forced Fumasche's goalkeeper Karlos Vuelta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karlos Vuelta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nate Drakenborg's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. If Nate Drakenborg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nate Drakenborg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Karlos Vuelta made a huge save. With 92 minutes on the clock, Santos Ponciano commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card.
