An unexpectedly hard shot by Crawford Korff in the 4th minute of play forced Felizberto EC's goalkeeper Marcus Sampaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fumasche's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jacobo Estevez in the 5th minute. In the 8th minute, Wei De Ling ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcus Sampaio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 16 played minutes Felizberto EC got a freekick which was hit by Per Löfkvist. Per Löfkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Karlos Vuelta made a huge save. Marcus Sampaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Crawford Korff in the 20th minute of play. Marco Freitas was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 26 minutes into the match. After 26 played minutes Felizberto EC got a freekick which was hit by Marco Freitas. When Jacobo Estevez came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Fumasche fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacobo Estevez couldn't finish the play. Crawford Korff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the game, Crawford Korff cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Marcus Sampaio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jeferson Furtado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karlos Vuelta having to interfere. Karlos Vuelta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabinho Valadares in the 43rd minute. Marcus Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wei De Ling in the 46th minute of the match. The Felizberto EC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fumasche were winning 0-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Per Löfkvist made a kick off. Marcus Sampaio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wei De Ling in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute Crawford Korff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Sampaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Jeferson Furtado had to leave the field with a concussion. Felizberto EC made a substitution. Geraldo Prestes replaced Jeferson Furtado. In the 59th minute, Aurelio Tanio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Per Löfkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcus Sampaio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Crawford Korff showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 78 minute of play. Felizberto EC's Marcus Sampaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Eufemio in the 89th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Geraldo Prestes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karlos Vuelta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcus Sampaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Eufemio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Marcelo Eufemio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Fumasche eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
