When Aron Wennersten fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Samba Fotboll U21's protests and gave Aron Wennersten a yellow card for diving instead. A sloppy throw-in by Aron Wennersten in the 4th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Circus BAF's Sam-Lucas Lache. Sam Yang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Van Gertsuyden in the 5th minute of play. Samba Fotboll U21's Sam Yang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorden Van der Hoeven in the 9th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Circus BAF's Lukas Gobbelijns got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute, Tommy Van Gertsuyden ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sam Yang was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Circus BAF's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Stålberg came free, but Juan Ignacio Van Landschoot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th match minute, Samba Fotboll U21 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Örjan Dahlquist to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Circus BAF booed when Samba Fotboll U21 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Örjan Dahlquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Samba Fotboll U21's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Van Gertsuyden came free, but Sam Yang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Circus BAF fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Circus BAF's Tommy Van Gertsuyden looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tommy Van Gertsuyden in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sam Yang saved Samba Fotboll U21 from getting behind. Kevin Stålberg struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Juan Ignacio Van Landschoot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Samba Fotboll U21. Sam-Lucas Lache blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sam Yang having to make a save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kevin Stålberg made a kick off. With a little luck, Samba Fotboll U21's Sam Yang got control of the ball when Tommy Van Gertsuyden tried to sneak it across the goal line. Örjan Dahlquist hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Sam Yang stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tommy Van Gertsuyden's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tommy Van Gertsuyden in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sam Yang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Juan Ignacio Van Landschoot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles Kolberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Samba Fotboll U21's goalkeeper Sam Yang, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 75 minutes, Tommy Van Gertsuyden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Circus BAF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tommy Van Gertsuyden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th minute Tommy Van Gertsuyden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sam Yang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Samba Fotboll U21's goalkeeper Sam Yang, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Circus BAF made a substitution. Hubert Vermeiren replaced Jorden Van der Hoeven. Sam Yang came out of the goal and Tommy Van Gertsuyden tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonardo Valström's late challenge caught a Circus BAF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonardo Valström helped the player get up and apologised. After 90 played minutes Samba Fotboll U21 got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Valström. Sam Yang was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Tommy Van Gertsuyden capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tommy Van Gertsuyden really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3.
