In the 12th minute Tommy Van Gertsuyden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeu Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romeu Guedes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorden Van der Hoeven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 16 minutes, Timmy Simons mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Circus BAF and the Guararapes players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Guararapes booed when Circus BAF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timmy Simons didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Ignacio Van Landschoot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno do Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Circus BAF's zone, Ragıp Işık stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Ignacio Van Landschoot came out of the goal and Ragıp Işık tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nuno do Nascimento in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Ignacio Van Landschoot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Circus BAF getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Tommy Van Gertsuyden hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nuno do Nascimento in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Ignacio Van Landschoot saved Circus BAF from getting behind. 41 minutes into the match, Guararapes's goal looked a bit too open when Jorden Van der Hoeven came free, but Romeu Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romeu Guedes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorden Van der Hoeven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Tommy Van Gertsuyden left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Circus BAF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Guararapes's supporters rose to their feet, but Dida Pena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Vinicio Bermudo sped through Circus BAF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Juan Ignacio Van Landschoot. Circus BAF's Erik-Jan Stroobant was substituted for Hubert Vermeiren. Guararapes's Francisco Rencio was substituted for Ragıp Işık. Dany-Adams Opdebeeck kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Guararapes's José Pedro Cardozo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Circus BAF's Juan Ignacio Van Landschoot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Rencio in the 94th minute of play. In the 96thth minute of the game Cristian Cordoba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Circus BAF's Juan Ignacio Van Landschoot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Guararapes walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
