After a rather tough play, Real Racing Club's Celso Maldonado got a free kick in the 12th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Real Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Alwege came free, but Gao Fei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gao Fei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Alwege in the 19th minute of the match. When Su Yuan Yu fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Racing Club's protests and gave Su Yuan Yu a yellow card for diving instead. Su Yuan Yu kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. If Ergin Ünüvar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, Real Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Dean Arrascaeta came free, but Gao Fei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Real Racing Club getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Silvio Amato hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, North Port UTD's Rodolphe Denis got a free kick in the 29th minute. Gao Fei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dumitru Enoaia in the 32nd minute of play. After 34 played minutes Real Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Du. Gao Fei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dumitru Enoaia in the 39th minute of play. After 40 minutes, Dumitru Enoaia made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Real Racing Club's Gao Fei tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Su Yuan Yu to make the kick off. Gao Fei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dumitru Enoaia in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute, Dumitru Enoaia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gao Fei was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Gao Fei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ergin Ünüvar in the 69th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in North Port UTD's zone, Su Yuan Yu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geofredo Fox came out of the goal and Su Yuan Yu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. North Port UTD's Ercan Şerif was substituted for Hakkı Deniz Danış. The supporters of Real Racing Club booed when North Port UTD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yağız Nesil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Su Yuan Yu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geofredo Fox having to interfere. Du's late challenge caught a North Port UTD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Du helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th minute, Du hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Real Racing Club's Gao Fei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Real Racing Club from getting a goal against them. In the 92nd match minute, Real Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoldo Beti to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over North Port UTD could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Real Racing Club throughout the match.
