The FC Truseni fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anibal Aritza should have stopped the shot. In the 33rd minute, Su Yuan Yu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, FC Truseni's Teodor Cornea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gao Fei narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gao Fei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorel Cretu in the 38th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teodor Cornea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Real Racing Club's Gao Fei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Real Racing Club from getting a goal against them. Teodor Cornea received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gao Fei came out and tried to block the shot, but Teodor Cornea slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 58th minute. FC Truseni made a substitution. Radu Briceag replaced Tudor Buga. Anibal Aritza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Su Yuan Yu in the 64th minute of play. FC Truseni's Teodor Cornea got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Real Racing Club's Su Yuan Yu got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 82 minutes into the match, Real Racing Club's goalkeeper Gao Fei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonid Nazaria. Real Racing Club's Ismael Brun suffered a sore thigh after 91 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Dorin Dobã kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Su Yuan Yu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
