GOMEZ F.C.'s Silvain Labrouche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustacio Inko in the 9th minute of play. Vicente Ipar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago-Tomas Gentiletti in the 15th minute of the match. If Jonatan Chaime had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Danilo Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vicente Ipar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago-Tomas Gentiletti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. GOMEZ F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Weather Manglano in the 33rd minute. Santiago-Tomas Gentiletti made a great header on GOMEZ F.C.'s corner, it was just that Islas FC's Vicente Ipar managed to reach the ball for a save. When Santiago-Tomas Gentiletti came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the GOMEZ F.C. fans jumped to their feet. Silvain Labrouche didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Islas FC. After 57 played minutes Islas FC got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Valente. Eustacio Inko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Silvain Labrouche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Islas FC's Eustacio Inko, in the 74th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Islas FC. Islas FC's Vicente Ipar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Islas FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Islas FC's Ryan York got a free kick in the 82nd minute. When Eustacio Inko came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Islas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustacio Inko couldn't finish the play. Chants of GOMEZ F.C. echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Islas FC had held the ball for most of the match.
