Carolo Maju's late challenge caught a Gorgory's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carolo Maju helped the player get up and apologised. Islas FC:s Vicente Ipar showed great skill when he stopped Elroy Snijders:s penalty. In the 12th match minute, Islas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romulo Fernendo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 13 minutes, Higinio Valiente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gorgory's supporters crossed their fingers, but Higinio Valiente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Islas FC's goalkeeper Vicente Ipar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 24th minute of the match Gorgory got a corner. Islas FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dan Benet ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Gorgory's Basilio Cordairo to fire away a dangerous shot which Vicente Ipar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Abel Orlan came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Islas FC's Benedicto Tonete. But to his dismay, Benedicto Tonete quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Gorgory's Abel Orlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Tonete in the 32nd minute of play. Vicente Ipar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elroy Snijders in the 36th minute. In the 37th match minute, Islas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustacio Inko to maneuver through the defense. Dan Benet kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

After 54 minutes, Donatello Caseres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gorgory and the Islas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd minute, one of Gorgory:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gorgory. In the 54th minute there was a penalty for Islas FC. Benedicto Tonete stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Abel Orlan. 1-2. Gorgory's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dan Benet in the 62nd minute. The corner led Gorgory's Agustín Ramis to fire away a dangerous shot which Vicente Ipar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 64th minute Elroy Snijders shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Ipar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Gorgory was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gheorghe Ecobescu to maneuver through the defense. Islas FC made a substitution. Ryan York replaced Flavio Aballe. After 66 played minutes Gorgory got a freekick which was hit by Gheorghe Ecobescu. Guillermo Marz hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. The supporters of Islas FC booed when Gorgory was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Marz didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Gorgory getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Elroy Snijders hit a great ball. Romulo Fernendo made in the 73rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Gorgory's Enzo Elizardo. After 78 minutes of play, Gorgory's Paulino Araoz made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vicente Ipar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Islas FC's Vicente Ipar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Arevalo in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th match minute, Gorgory was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Arevalo to maneuver through the defense. After 88 minutes, Ryan York mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Islas FC and the Gorgory players grew even worse after the yellow card. Abel Orlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The audience was convinced that Danilo Alcântara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abel Orlan was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. 94 minutes into the game, Gorgory's Oscar Arevalo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vicente Ipar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Vicente Ipar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Arevalo in the 98th minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Gorgory were victorious despite being under pressure from Islas FC for much of the match.
