When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Santana made a kick off. Galo do Japi were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Real Unión CF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cafu Ringaa took the corner. In the 59th minute of the game Jenaro Igarza made a throw-in which Sven Zollinger played forward.
