Saul Suarez had in the 3rdth minute some difficulties stopping Julio Kemen's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 3 minutes into the game, Julio Kemen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Saul Suarez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Julio Kemen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Quitilipi's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fagildo Pamanes was slow to take the kick. During this time Consejo del Mate's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Fagildo Pamanes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Quitilipi's Saul Suarez did a great save. In the 13thth minute of the game Bolo Bolaño who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quitilipi's Saul Suarez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 14 minutes, Fagildo Pamanes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Consejo del Mate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fagildo Pamanes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bolo Bolaño in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saul Suarez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Saul Suarez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bolo Bolaño in the 21st minute of the match. Saul Suarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bolo Bolaño, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Iurie Malcoci kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Bolo Bolaño's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Saul Suarez was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Hugo Orlando Gatti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arí Lucas in the 29th minute. Arí Lucas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hugo Orlando Gatti came out and tried to block the shot, but Arí Lucas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 29th minute. Saul Suarez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bolo Bolaño in the 33rd minute of the match. After 41 minutes, Bolo Bolaño made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Quitilipi's Saul Suarez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hugo Orlando Gatti made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Inocencio Lartaun sent off a good shot on target. Bolo Bolaño took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Saul Suarez. Saul Suarez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. After the first half Consejo del Mate were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cayetano Bazkoare to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Consejo del Mate's Bolo Bolaño ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Saul Suarez. Saul Suarez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Bazkoare in the 57th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Consejo del Mate's goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Ibon came free, but Hugo Orlando Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saul Suarez made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Bolo Bolaño sent off a good shot on target. Bolo Bolaño who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Saul Suarez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Bolo Bolaño put it in 1-6 from a short distance just to the right of Saul Suarez. Saul Suarez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bolo Bolaño in the 67th minute. Bolo Bolaño recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 69 minutes, Iurie Malcoci mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quitilipi and the Consejo del Mate players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Quitilipi's Iurie Malcoci got a free kick in the 70th minute. Saul Suarez made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Bolo Bolaño sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Consejo del Mate getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Fagildo Pamanes hit a great ball. In the 74th minute, Bolo Bolaño reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Saul Suarez. The goal made the score 1-7. If Bolo Bolaño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bolo Bolaño in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Saul Suarez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Hugo Orlando Gatti came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Quitilipi's Cayetano Bazkoare. But to his dismay, Cayetano Bazkoare quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-7. Saul Suarez was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Bolo Bolaño capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bolo Bolaño really showed his touch with that goal: 2-8. 93 minutes into the match, Quitilipi's goalkeeper Saul Suarez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julio Kemen. The Consejo del Mate supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Consejo del Mate would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
