Jaime Tabor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Hugo Orlando Gatti made a huge save. Jaime Tabor made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 4thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Hugo Orlando Gatti would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. When Julio Kemen came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Consejo del Mate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julio Kemen couldn't finish the play. In the 10thth minute of the game Fagildo Pamanes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Le Stade Briochin UC's Lev Yashin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Farid Verrecchia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Hugo Orlando Gatti made a huge save. In the 14th minute Fagildo Pamanes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lev Yashin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Farid Verrecchia in the 15th minute of play forced Consejo del Mate's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Orlando Gatti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nolan Roux in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Ernest Sauze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Le Stade Briochin UC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Hugo Law hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaime Tabor in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Orlando Gatti saved Consejo del Mate from getting behind. Le Stade Briochin UC's Nolan Roux got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lev Yashin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bolo Bolaño, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Le Stade Briochin UC made a substitution. Dimitri Nedellec replaced Nolan Roux. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Tabor was the one to do the kick off. Consejo del Mate's Hugo Orlando Gatti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitri Nedellec in the 62nd minute of play. Lev Yashin made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Julio Kemen sent off a good shot on target. Lev Yashin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hernan Quinton went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Le Stade Briochin UC made a substitution. Allan Parsons replaced Christopher Palumbo. In the 81st minute Hugo Law shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Orlando Gatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Štefan Hlavica's late challenge caught a Le Stade Briochin UC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Štefan Hlavica helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Consejo del Mate getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Štefan Hlavica hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimitri Nedellec in the 83rd minute of play forced Consejo del Mate's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by Le Stade Briochin UC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fagildo Pamanes was slow to take the kick. During this time Consejo del Mate's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Consejo del Mate's Santo Lorenz got a free kick in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Le Stade Briochin UC's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Kemen came free, but Lev Yashin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Kemen came free with the goalkeeper in the 90th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lev Yashin could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Farid Verrecchia in the 92nd minute of play forced Consejo del Mate's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 97 played minutes Le Stade Briochin UC got a freekick which was hit by Farid Verrecchia. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Consejo del Mate walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
