The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Liu Cheng Kang hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. The supporters of BK Badboll booed when Real Unión CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jenaro Igarza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frank Karlsson struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Wilfredo Heli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BK Badboll. After 12 played minutes BK Badboll got a freekick which was hit by Frank Karlsson. 21 minutes into the game, Yuan Jian Hai lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Kenneth Vestberg. If Yuan Jian Hai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yuan Jian Hais short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Kenneth Vestberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 30 minutes, Philip Lindkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BK Badboll and the Real Unión CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. 40 minutes into the game, Joaquim Valdueza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Unión CF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BK Badboll the free kick. A collision led to Real Unión CF getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Joaquim Valdueza hit a great ball. Urban Brenner kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

BK Badboll's Frank Karlsson suffered a concussion in the 52nd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After 52 minutes of play Real Unión CF's Joaquim Valdueza was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. BK Badboll's Kjell Sellberg was substituted for Frank Karlsson. Kjell Sellberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Wilfredo Heli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kenneth Vestberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liu Cheng Kang in the 61st minute of play. Kenneth Vestberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liu Cheng Kang, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Mikael Johnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfredo Heli having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, BK Badboll's goal looked a bit too open when Liu Cheng Kang came free, but Kenneth Vestberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kjell Sellberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Wilfredo Heli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Real Unión CF's Wilfredo Heli got control of the ball when Mikael Johnsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wilfredo Heli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philip Lindkvist in the 84th minute of play. In the 88th minute Mikael Johnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfredo Heli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Liu Cheng Kang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Real Unión CF's Yanne Callaerts was substituted for Yuan Jian Hai. A collision led to Real Unión CF getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Benjamin Arnas hit a great ball. The long shot by Philip Lindkvist in the 99th minute really tested Wilfredo Heli's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When the referee ended the match the Real Unión CF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
