Amaranthus's Anton Brander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Karlsson in the 5th minute of play. Anton Brander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Johan Törnqvist in the 6th minute of play. If Frank Karlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the match, Amaranthus's Reinaldo Jaen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kenneth Vestberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 20 minutes, Reinaldo Jaen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amaranthus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reinaldo Jaen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emil Frisck hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the match, BK Badboll's Frank Karlsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anton Brander narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anton Brander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Karlsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. A collision led to Amaranthus getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Rune Hammarbäck hit a great ball. If Frank Karlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anton Brander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Johan Törnqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karl-Johan Törnqvist was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Amaranthus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åke Hellgren to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in BK Badboll's zone, Reinaldo Jaen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenneth Vestberg came out of the goal and Reinaldo Jaen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute, Richard Engström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the match, BK Badboll's goal looked a bit too open when Reinaldo Jaen came free, but Kenneth Vestberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinaldo Jaen in the 62nd minute of play forced BK Badboll's goalkeeper Kenneth Vestberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Åke Hellgren made in the 63rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Bror Alebeck. Reinaldo Jaen scored 1-1 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kenneth Vestberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 71 played minutes Amaranthus got a freekick which was hit by Åke Hellgren. Amaranthus made a substitution. Zheng Feng Wei replaced Vilhelm Axelsson. Åke Hellgren kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Frank Karlsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anton Brander. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Karlsson ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Johan Törnqvist in the 75th minute of play forced Amaranthus's goalkeeper Anton Brander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amaranthus's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Philip Lindkvist scored to the left of an out of position Anton Brander, making the score, 1-2. Reinaldo Jaen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kenneth Vestberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. After 83 minutes BK Badboll's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jani Toppinen who took care of the corner kick. After a defensive mix-up in BK Badboll's zone, Reinaldo Jaen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenneth Vestberg came out of the goal and Reinaldo Jaen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinaldo Jaen in the 88th minute of play forced BK Badboll's goalkeeper Kenneth Vestberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kenneth Vestberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinaldo Jaen in the 96th minute of play.
