ESQUIU FC's Isidro Pacho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Leocadio in the 10th minute of play. LA DEL MONO's Fabio Betadur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Fernandez in the 12th minute of play. Octavio Ospetsu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Isidro Pacho made a huge save. Atilano Basualdo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tauras Marčiauskas charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 45th minute, Shaun Phillips made a precise shot to the right of Fabio Betadur. LA DEL MONO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Atilano Basualdo struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Fabio Betadur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ESQUIU FC.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Atilano Basualdo got free with Fabio Betadur in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Josef Klintæus hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. With a little luck, LA DEL MONO's Fabio Betadur got control of the ball when Cristian-Gustavo Leiva tried to sneak it across the goal line. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fabio Betadur firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 77 played minutes LA DEL MONO got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Cordareo. After 82 minutes, Rigoberto Cordareo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LA DEL MONO and the ESQUIU FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 82 minutes, Cristian-Gustavo Leiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ESQUIU FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian-Gustavo Leiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Atilano Basualdo fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ESQUIU FC's protests and gave Atilano Basualdo a yellow card for diving instead. After 84 played minutes ESQUIU FC got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Basualdo. Isidro Pacho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Cheche in the 85th minute of the match. Andres Quintan hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Enzo Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. The ESQUIU FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ESQUIU FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
