The audience was convinced that Fulgencio Cristofol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isidro Pacho was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alekos Kadoglou to make the kick off. Enzo Fernandez struck a weak shot in the 50th minute. Patrik Ugla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ESQUIU FC. 55 minutes into the match, Cedynia's goalkeeper Patrik Ugla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enzo Fernandez. ESQUIU FC's Isidro Pacho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Cristofol in the 58th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cedynia's zone, Justo Jurdan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrik Ugla came out of the goal and Justo Jurdan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61st minute Fulgencio Cristofol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Pacho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 63 played minutes Cedynia got a freekick which was hit by Kasey Laverick. Enzo Fernandez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patrik Ugla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cedynia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cristian-Gustavo Leiva was slow to take the kick. During this time ESQUIU FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led ESQUIU FC's Cristian-Gustavo Leiva to fire away a dangerous shot which Patrik Ugla despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Justo Jurdan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Patrik Ugla. Justo Jurdan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. If Fulgencio Cristofol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th match minute, ESQUIU FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Jurdan to maneuver through the defense. Cristian-Gustavo Leiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Patrik Ugla made a huge save. Atilano Basualdo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Patrik Ugla made a huge save. Chants of ESQUIU FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Cedynia had held the ball for most of the match.
