Dalmo Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Östen Holmberg in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute Gustaf Snell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jovens Democratas MZC's Dalmo Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaf Snell in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaf Snell in the 15th minute of play forced Jovens Democratas MZC's goalkeeper Dalmo Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes in the game Sebastian Larsson did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Östen Holmberg. Nils-Åke Dahlqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xu Li Sang in the 20th minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chico de Sousa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Wetterqvist Boys BK's Nils-Åke Dahlqvist got control of the ball when Xu Li Sang tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Jovens Democratas MZC booed when Wetterqvist Boys BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Olof Björk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wetterqvist Boys BK's Victor Ersman was substituted for Åke Olenberg. Jovens Democratas MZC's Marco van Basten was substituted for Durval de Queirós. In the 72nd minute, Jan-Olof Björk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustaf Snell took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dalmo Saldanha. Jovens Democratas MZC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Östen Holmberg took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dalmo Saldanha. Dalmo Saldanha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Dalmo Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timmy Bergfeldt in the 82nd minute of the match. Jovens Democratas MZC made a substitution. Elano Loureiro replaced Dobromir Zagrodny. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco van Basten got free with Nils-Åke Dahlqvist in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nils-Åke Dahlqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chico de Sousa in the 95th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Wetterqvist Boys BK's goalkeeper Nils-Åke Dahlqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elano Loureiro. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Wetterqvist Boys BK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Jovens Democratas MZC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
