Carlinhos Félix started the match with the kick off. Arturo Guib showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdir Velloso in the 4th minute of the match. Carlinhos Félix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Arturo Guib tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlinhos Félix came free with the goalkeeper in the 13th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Arturo Guib could save by the left post. In the 15th minute Teodosio Lop shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Björkqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charles Björkqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Lop in the 21st minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, La Zabaleta's goal looked a bit too open when Valdir Velloso came free, but Arturo Guib reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlinhos Félix hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdir Velloso in the 30th minute of play forced La Zabaleta's goalkeeper Arturo Guib to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arturo Guib took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdir Velloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charles Björkqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Arce in the 39th minute of play. Urbano Balasi kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Albin Ånger stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Here Comes the Hammer getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Tord Spetz hit a great ball. In the 55th minute, Lorenzo Arce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 57 played minutes La Zabaleta got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Arce. Emil Paulin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arturo Guib. La Zabaleta's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, La Zabaleta's Lorenzo Arce got a free kick in the 61st minute. 67 minutes into the match, La Zabaleta's goal looked a bit too open when Carlinhos Félix came free, but Arturo Guib reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Urbano Balasi scored 0-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Charles Björkqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Here Comes the Hammer's Gustav Larsfelt was substituted for Lei Lei Feng.
