Arturo Guib showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Socorro in the 10th minute of the match. La Zabaleta's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Bruno Marinetti scored to the left of an out of position Arturo Guib, making the score, 1-0. Vladimiro Llorenc in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arturo Guib, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 23 minutes into the match, La Zabaleta's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Marinetti came free, but Arturo Guib reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute of the match, Bruno Marinetti tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arturo Guib saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Lázaro Socorro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arturo Guib came out and tried to block the shot, but Lázaro Socorro slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Boedo Athletic.'s Ignacio Primo was substituted for Bruno Marinetti. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vladimiro Llorenc was the one to do the kick off. If Albin Ånger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arturo Guib showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Socorro in the 57th minute of the match. Micah Vesović hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Arturo Guib stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ignacio Primo's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Arturo Guib made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Rafel in the 79th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carolo Videl in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arturo Guib saved La Zabaleta from getting behind. There was no doubt that Boedo Athletic. were the better team. Boedo Athletic.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
