The ball had pretty good speed, but Arturo Guib firmly grabbed it by the left post. Arturo Guib made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Paulista in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th minute Dragões Barbudos FC were awarded a corner. Thomas Semeloglou went to the cornerflag to take it. Idalécio Baldaia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arturo Guib came out and tried to block the shot, but Idalécio Baldaia slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 19th minute. Arturo Guib showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Paulista, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Gomes got free with Arturo Guib in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. La Zabaleta's Amancio Ekain quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Thomas Semeloglou, made in the 28th minute of the game. With an all-out effort, Dragões Barbudos FC's Arturo Guib threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Idalécio Baldaia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Daniel Chaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albin Ånger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 40 minutes of play, Dragões Barbudos FC's Babür Kongurtay made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arturo Guib was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albin Ånger to strike the kick off in the second half. Albin Ånger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Idalécio Baldaia in the 54th minute of play forced La Zabaleta's goalkeeper Arturo Guib to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute Idalécio Baldaia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Guib saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Dragões Barbudos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Albin Ånger came free, but Daniel Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Micah Vesović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 75 minutes into the match, Idalécio Baldaia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arturo Guib. La Zabaleta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Idalécio Baldaia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. The Dragões Barbudos FC fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Dragões Barbudos FC's Fernando Gomes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 82nd minute, La Zabaleta's Albin Ånger ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Daniel Chaves. Daniel Chaves yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-1.
