Sven-Edvin Viklund took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Markus Albäck. Markus Albäck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Markus Albäck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Van Den Wijngaert in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Refael De Boeck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Markus Albäck was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After a rather tough play, Nye's Per Västerstrand got a free kick in the 29th minute. KV Schoonwater's Elias Geraerts got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Markus Albäck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sem Roekeloos in the 31st minute of the match. Markus Albäck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Philip Hedvall made a kick off. Markus Albäck came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by KV Schoonwater's Pino Van Hinnendaels. But to his dismay, Pino Van Hinnendaels quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. After some careless play in the Nye defense, Pino Van Hinnendaels kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Markus Albäck. The Nye fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Markus Albäck should have stopped the shot. Nye's Markus Albäck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Van Den Wijngaert in the 68th minute of play. Markus Albäck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Refael De Boeck in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, KV Schoonwater's Sven-Edvin Viklund ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Markus Albäck. Markus Albäck yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11. In the 74th minute, KV Schoonwater's Sem Roekeloos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Markus Albäck. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Geraerts in the 87th minute of play forced Nye's goalkeeper Markus Albäck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KV Schoonwater made a substitution. Franky Musseeuw replaced Abel Van Den Wijngaert. In the 93rd minute, Pino Van Hinnendaels got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nye's Markus Albäck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Edvin Viklund in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded KV Schoonwater left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Nye.
