If Ilgaz Şirvan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frederico Madureira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Caio da Rocha's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bart Claveau in the 11th minute of play forced Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goalkeeper Abel Bueno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, Anselmo Finocchio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18thth minute of the game Caio da Rocha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mochila FC's Frederico Madureira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ilgaz Şirvan in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frederico Madureira saved Mochila FC from getting behind. Qikiqtarjuaq FC were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Mochila FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Miki Jungslund took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Miki Jungslund got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Frederico Madureira quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Frederico Madureira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caio da Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. When Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Ilgaz Şirvan in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Mochila FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sydney Terra in the 43rd minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goalie and right to Andrézinho Batista. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When Ilgaz Şirvan came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Qikiqtarjuaq FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ilgaz Şirvan couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Mochila FC defense, Caio da Rocha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frederico Madureira. The Mochila FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frederico Madureira should have stopped the shot.

In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mochila FC's goalkeeper Frederico Madureira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Abel Bueno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bart Claveau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
