Emanuele Fioriti came out and tried to block the shot, but Jairo Deunoro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Bermudo in the 25th minute of play forced Caballeritos del Baile's goalkeeper Angelo Urtsua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Jairo Deunoro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Angelo Urtsua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Bermudo, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

In the 56th match minute, FK Ekebo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Baraquiel to maneuver through the defense. Luisito Gaizkine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FK Ekebo's German Nafarroa was substituted for Kenneth Kamel. Angelo Urtsua made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Douglas Lööf sent off a good shot on target. Jairo Deunoro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angelo Urtsua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Lööf in the 96th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the FK Ekebo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Caballeritos del Baile.
