In the 13th minute Remicio Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eskil Vester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Emilio Cascajares came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the October 04 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Cascajares couldn't finish the play. 66 minutes into the game, Cabildo FC's Gaspar Peseiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emilio Cascajares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Patricio Toledo made a huge save. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Cabildo FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
