Spectators: 7542 (Terracing: 5658, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Laércio Paraíba made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Sport Club Mavericks's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Iturri came free, but Marcelo Gröhe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Laércio Paraíba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cirilo Frederico was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. In the 12th play minute Anselmo Iturri came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marcelo Gröhe. 1-0. Fernando Lucas hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sport Club Mavericks's goalkeeper Marcelo Gröhe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcelo Gröhe made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Anselmo Iturri sent off a good shot on target. In the 34thth minute of the game Dre Schipmans who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kiev FC's Cirilo Frederico was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sport Club Mavericks's zone, Anselmo Iturri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Gröhe came out of the goal and Anselmo Iturri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeronimo Frutos hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, Sílvio Luiz de Godoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 44 minutes, Wanderson Meirelles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kiev FC and the Sport Club Mavericks players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th minute, Wanderson Meirelles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sílvio Luiz de Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sport Club Mavericks's goalkeeper Marcelo Gröhe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Sport Club Mavericks made a substitution. Vítor Perez replaced Alfredão Paiva. Sport Club Mavericks's Bater Noppe was substituted for Arnaldo Baiano. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anselmo Iturri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcelo Gröhe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Iturri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelo Gröhe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Iturri, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Fernando Lucas hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After 60 minutes, Fernando Lucas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sport Club Mavericks and the Kiev FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sport Club Mavericks's Fernando Lucas got a free kick in the 60th minute. Kiev FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antonio Mutafchiev in the 62nd minute. It was a well-played corner which Benny Stahlschmidt managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The throw-in from Benny Stahlschmidt in the 74th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sport Club Mavericks's Fernando Lucas. In the 78thth minute of the game Anselmo Iturri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sport Club Mavericks's Marcelo Gröhe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cirilo Frederico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Anselmo Iturri might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcelo Gröhe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anselmo Iturri ran back to his position shaking his head. Kiev FC's Rodolfo Burni was substituted for Alvaro Gartxot. Marcelo Gröhe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erubiel Ramond, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. When Vítor Perez came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Sport Club Mavericks fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vítor Perez couldn't finish the play. 96 minutes into the match, Erubiel Ramond notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Sport Club Mavericks's Marcelo Gröhe. Marcelo Gröhe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the Kiev FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
